Virginia and her husband Dick, a
tenor, have created a mosaic of music for classical
organ and piano, harp, and voice, including hymns and
popular melodies.
Healing Harp Melodies I and II by
Virginia Bethune These 2 recordings, each at least 50
min. in length, are intentionally designed with 9-10 familiar
compositions, including Clair de Lune, Brahms Lullaby,
Vesper Hymn, Scarborough Fair, Danny Boy, Annie Laurie,

to enable the mind, body, and spirit to become gradually

On My Own by Ute Bonn
This is Voicedancer's Debut Album as
a recording artist. She has been influenced by music from
other cultures (Africa, Brazil, Native American....) and
created her own innovoative style. Calling it: "On
My Own" shows that she is doing this as a solo artist,
as one voice, A Capella. Her voice dances through rhythms,
melodies and sounds, and creates a bouquet of original
songs. Voicedancer (Ute Bonn) arranged the songs, wrote
the music, and the lyrics (except track 11).
Heartaches & Other Pleasures by
Ute Bonn This album, "Heartaches and Other
Pleasures", was released in 2005. The songs on the
CD (as the title already hints) are about love, life,
relationships - about the different facets like falling
in love, disappointment, anger, sadness, letting go and
being at peace - and loving again. Ute has used the songs
as her way to process her own experiences. She surprises
with her honesty and her sense of humor that are reflected
in these songs. The CD is for everyone who is experiencing
a hurtful break-up and wants to work through, and for
those who have been through this in the past and have
some 'leftover' feelings....
Hildegard von Bingen: Marriage of the Heavens and the
Earth by Catherine Braslavsky
and Joseph Rowe After being forgotten for several centuries,
Hildegard von Bingen is recognized today as one of the
universal minds in Western culture. The abbess at the
monastery of Saint-Rupert close to the town of Bingen,
Hildegard was a composer, writer, physician and visionary
who lived in the 12th century A.D.
Hildegard von Bingen's music is undoubtedly her most inspiring
legacy. She is considered one of the leading composers
of the Middle Ages. One of her works, The Ordo Virtutum,
has been called the first form, and possibly the origin,
of oepera. She composed seventy-seven more songs mostly
for her monastery. Only a few decades ago, this incredible
treasure was rediscovered and presented to a larger audience.
